Check Associated Assignments for Intune Filters

Jitesh has made a nice guide about the intune filters’ Associated Assignments feature that allows administrators to view the list of all groups to which a policy, app, or profile has been assigned, aiding in troubleshooting and auditing. The feature was introduced in Intune Service Release 2302 and can filter assignments using various device properties.

Debugging Azure Virtual Desktop errors/issues/network latency and bandwidth with an interactive Workbook

Marcel has written a post explaining that Azure Virtual Desktop can send diagnostic data to Azure Monitor’s log analytics workspace if configured correctly. This feature provides access to various logs containing information about the events occurring in the backend.  Read the full post here

 

Broken AVD login for IGEL OS 11 2023-March-08 – Workaround FIX

Unfortunately, there was an outage of the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)/Windows 365 login function using IGEL OS 11 endpoints on March 8, 2023. While awaiting a resolution, a workaround is available. Read the full post here

What is RDP Shortpath for AVD Managed Networks and How to Use It

Travis Roberts has produced a video highlighting the importance of maintaining low Round Trip Time (RTT) for a good user experience in Azure Virtual Desktop. One way to achieve this is through the use of RDP Shortpath for AVD Managed Networks, which capitalizes on existing connections between the client network and Azure to keep latency at a minimum. The video explains how this feature is not enabled by default and provides an overview of the connectivity between the client and AVD Session Host, as well as how RDP Shortpath can direct traffic over private WAN connections between the two.
